Why Spicemeat

Four structural reasons this business compounds rather than plateaus.

Vertical integration keeps the margin

Slaughter, processing and packing sit on one site. The margin that normally leaks to intermediaries stays with us and buffers price pressure.

Certification is the moat

Halal, ISO 22000 and HACCP together take years and capital. That is not an advantage a new entrant copies quickly.

A diversified channel mix

Retail chains, traditional trade and HoReCa — three channels that offset each other’s seasonality.

A platform ready for export

The halal certificate and the cold chain already exist; entering neighbouring markets is mostly a documentation and logistics question.

Market

Where the demand comes from

A young, growing, overwhelmingly halal-observant population, rising incomes and a retail sector modernising fast.

A population of 37 million

The largest market in Central Asia, a median age below 30 and near-universal halal observance.

Modern retail is growing

Supermarkets are taking share from bazaars, which raises demand for certified, labelled product.

HoReCa is expanding

Restaurants and catering need consistent quality and portioned cuts — precisely our steak line.

Fragmented supply

A large share of the market sits with uncertified small producers; there is a clear gap to consolidate.
